Deputy president Dr William Ruto History.                                                           

Hon Wiliam Samoi Ruto  is the Kenyan first deputy president. He is the son to Daniel Cheriot and Sara Cheriot, who has risen  to become  a powerful politician in Kenya and beyond

He started his education in Kerotet  primary school and went to Wareng secondary school for O level before proceeding for Kapsabet high school for A-level. He  started his bachelor of science of zoology and batony from the university of Nairobi, hence graduating in 1990. He also has master in plant ecology in the same university which was confirmed upone him in 2011. Ruto has also graduated of  Batony and zoology from the university of Nairobi ,on December 2018

He was born in a little known Family in the power cycle of Kenya , no one knew him until he bounce into the limelight through his youthful KANU ,the political outfeet formed for the support of president Daniel Arap Moi in the year  1992 general election in which Moi won and he divided  his positions. In 1997 General  election Ruto ran against experience politician like Ruben Cheshire and Wiliam Warogo and won the eldoret north parliamentary seat with the KANU ticket . When President Daniel Moi named Uhuru Kenyatta as his successor in the KANU party, members like Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyka, George Saitoti, Moody Awuoro and many others moved from the party and Wiliam Ruto became the new KANU secretary general.He stuck with Uhuru Kenyatta even after Kibaki won in 2002 general election with NARC ticket against Uhuru Kenyatta

In the year 2006 Ruto Claims that he couldn't contest for presidency, this didn't go well with the KANU camp including the former president Moi who condemn his decision, however, he crossed to ODM party where he attempted to get the party ticket for presidency, contesting against Raila Odinga and Musalia Mudavadi. Ruto who was  in Raila alies in 2007 election supported  Raila Only his name to be mention to bring violence in 2007 election.

In coalition government formed by Raila Odinga and  President Mwai Kibaki, he was appointed as a minister of agriculture but later transfer to

WHO IS RAILA ODINGA

 Raila Odinga is  Kenyan Politician who was born in 1945 by the first Vice President Of Kenya, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga and Mary Juma.  He is the Brother to Oburu Odinga  and Rosemary Odinga.
